Author Guidelines
TARQIYAH: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Literasi (E-ISSN: 2746-5934) is a peer-reviewed journal on education and literacy. Published by Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Tarbiyah Maskumambang Gresik. It focuses on research and development in education and literacy within Muslim societies, particularly in the context of Islamic studies.
Any author submitting a journal article to TARQIYAH: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Literasi should follow the following guidelines:
A. Author Guidelines
All papers submitted to the editorial board of TARQIYAH Journal must be scientific, original, and have not previously been published on the publishing page of any scientific article, nor are they being edited in any other journal that is likely to be published.
The journal article was submitted online to Journal TARQIYAH's online journal portal address: Journal of Religion and Languages, https://ojs.stitmas.ac.id/index.php/tarqiyah/index, where the author first registered as an author and/or was offered as a reviewer online at https://ojs.stitmas.ac.id/index.php/tarqiyah/user/register. B. Writing Guidelines of TARQIYAH: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Literasi
The paper submitted to the editorial board of TARQIYAH Journal must be produced in line with the article template on the website; nevertheless, for additional clarification, it is as follows:
- Writing can take the form of a concept or research results relevant to the scope and coverage of Journal Al-Fawa'id, such as field research and library research.
- The process of writing articles for the Journal TARQIYAH is as follows:
- Article Title: Solid, Clear, and Scientific. (Field research can include a research locus and a title written in the capitalization of each word format, using font 14).
- Author's Identity: Name, affiliation, nationality, and email address of the author.
- Abstract: The abstract should be concise and factual. It should include the purpose of the research, the scope of the research, the objective of the research, clear research methods, a presentation of the key findings, and the significance of the research. If the abstract is written in Indonesian or English, use the Constantia 12 font with 1.5 spacing. If the article is in Arabic, the abstract should be written in Traditional Arabic 16 font with 1.5 spacing. The abstract should contain 100–150 words and be written in one paragraph without indentation.
- Keywords: 3 - 6 words
- Introduction: The introduction contains paragraphs that describe: 1) background; 2) problems of the research; 3) literature review; and 4) reviews of previous studies relevant to the research topic, accompanied by differences from previous studies or research novelty.
- Research Methodology: The research methods section includes paragraphs that describe the types of study, data sources, method of data collection, and data analysis strategies used by researchers. To enhance the examination of research data, it is advised to employ a methodology based on research theories.
- Result Findings and Discussion: The research findings include a presentation of the analytical results connected to research questions, while the comments provide a breakdown of the findings and comparisons to theories or comparable research findings.
- Conclusion: Contains research findings in the form of replies to research questions or a summary of the discussion outcomes, provided in paragraph format.
- References: The references contain the sources used in the writing of articles, provided that: 1) the number of references used is at least 20; 2) at least 50% of the total reference used is a publication of the last 10 years; and 3) the primary source (journal) reference is at least 50% of the total references.
C. Submission Guidelines
The author must first register as an author and be offered as a reviewer using the following address: https://ojs.stitmas.ac.id/index.php/tarqiyah/user/register. The author should fill out as detailed a form as feasible, with the starred form being entered. Once all of the form text boxes have been filled out, the author clicks the "Register" button to proceed with registration. As a result, the author is sent to the author's online submission interface, where they must select "New Submission." In the Starting New Submissions section, click "Click Here" to begin the five-step submission procedure:
Step 1 - Start Submission: Choose the corresponding journal section and go to the original research article, article review, or short communication. Thus, the author must check the ‘’sent’’ report.
Step 2 - Upload Submission: To upload a manuscript to this journal, click Browse on the Upload submission file item and select the file of the manuscript document to be submitted, then click the upload button.
Step 3 - Entering Submission Metadata: In this step, the author's metadata details must be entered, including the appropriate authentication marked. After that, the title of the manuscript and the abstract should be uploaded by copying the text and pasting it into the text box, including the keyword.
Step 4 - Submission Confirmation: The author must check the end of the script document uploaded to this site. To submit the script to the journal, click the Finish Submission button after the document is complete. The author with the appropriate contact data will receive notification via email and will be able to see the progress of the submission through the editorial process by logging into the journal's website.
After submitting the script, the author will receive an email confirmation. As a result, the author may check their submission status at any moment by logging into the online submission system. Submission monitoring contains the progress of the script's review and editing process.
