Abstrak

HAMKA defines moral education as a means or effort to provide knowledge to a person in order to see clearly everything in their live. Those are formed character or the moral and personality of the students in perfect. The term use in moral education by HAMKA is mention the two-term Ta’lim and Tarbiyah. HAMKA making of the word Ta’lim as educational process and not on the nature of education while Tarbiyah has meaning sharpen, develop, maintain, raise, grow, produce, domesticated and responsibility, both of physical aspects and spiritual aspects. According to HAMKA, the word Tarbiyah content on moral values, and tend to be more on the improvement of manners, which aims to produce a perfect man, and close to Allah SWT. So that as human being can get happiness in this world and hereafter. With presedent method, habituation, discussion, and reward, educate and study.
